The History of The Grill
The Grill opened in January 2016 (hasn’t time flown by?) on the site of the former Don Pedro Cuban Restaurant, which for many years had been Casa Las Tapas (Restaurant Don Quixote), further back in time the restaurant was originally turned into an eatery in the 1990s as Retiro’s Cafe Bar.
Since it has been The Grill, Karl, Susan and the team have always given a few nods here and there to the venue in its previous incarnations, including our popular Tapas Nights which run once a month (usually 3rd Friday of the month).
At the Grill we always use the best quality ingredients, sourced locally where possible, to create dishes that we believe are vibrant, fresh and tasty, although it may just be the triple fried beef dripping chips that people keep coming back for… nonetheless our extensive menu is accompanied by a varied and reasonably priced wine list, which we hope you will enjoy time and again when you visit The Grill.
